In most countries of the world, goods and services are produced, mostly, by small or medium size firms, and their small dimensions makes them vulnerable comparing to international competitors. Their capitals are small, and technology and research can’t reach the level of large companies.
To diminish these drawbacks, small and medium size companies associate in networks of firms inside which they will find the climate and strength of large companies. In this way, the isolation and limits imposed by their dimension will disappear and they will keep their shape and autonomy. Thus, they will focus on more ambitious objectives; they will be able to realize competitive and quality products.
