The Geographical and the Historical International Environments - Their Role in International Marketing – Luminita Nicolescu

The international environment through its elements has a profound influence over the marketing activity of companies abroad. However not all elements of international environments influence the companies’ activities to a similar extent and not all of them have an evident influence.
The present article takes into discussion two of the elements of the international environment with a less evident influence over the marketing activity, namely the geographical and the historical environments. The two aspects are presented based on their components and a number of relevant examples.
