Within this context, one of the most important challenges for companies, for people, is to harmonize their specific values, symbols, attitudes and behaviours, as part of their specific culture, with other types of culture.
National and organizational culture are one of the main factors that influence the performances and evolution of a company, and it reflects to a certain extent the characteristics of its business envi-ronment. The study and use of national and organizational cultures concepts could provide academics, managers and specialists with new insights regarding organizational life and can provide them important tools for increasing organizations competitiveness.
